Packed Pop-Up Workshop at George Mason U.

George Mason University Campus, Fairfax, VAGeorge Mason pop-up class

George Mason University’s Art Department in Fairfax, Virginia, was the site of a paper engineering marathon on Wednesday. I taught a group of over thirty printmaking, graphic design, and photography majors along with members of the school’s Printmakers’ Guild, which sponsored the workshop. Participants enthusiastically set about inventing their own pop-up cards and images after learning the basic structures. I’m sure the day’s instruction will lead to some exciting projects over the course of  the semester.
