Pocket Paper Engineer wins Independent Publisher Award

Carol Receiving IPPY AwardNew York City

This past week I was in New York City to attend the Independent Publishers Book Awards Ceremony at The Providence on 57th Street. My book The Pocket Paper Engineer, Volume 3 won the Silver Medal for how-to books. The event featured a live band, open bar, and lots of interesting authors and publishers in attendance. Aside from the exciting evening, Henry and I went to the Rubin Museum of Art with its fascinating collection of Himalayan treasures, and saw another intriguing exhibit at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
